During Pixel Gathering and Graduation Weekend, Stanford OHS students and staff joined Dr. Kalee Tock to launch Pixel into the atmosphere by weather balloon. The team spent weeks preparing for launch, registering the aircraft with the Weather Service, driving to Hollister for takeoff, measuring exactly the right amount of helium to send Pixel to space, and then chased the aircraft's journey from the ground. Pixel reached new heights at nearly 100,000 feet before returning to Earth. Congratulations team!
