Marine Science with Dr. Vetter

This homeroom will focus on marine science. We'll start with a survey of the major marine habitats, focusing on how marine organisms meet the challenges of each habitat. After a brief introduction, students will find relevant resources and share with the group. Depending on the interests of the students who join, we might also explore what goes into creating, assessing, and maintaining Marine Protected Areas (a type of reserve), or look into open data sets and how they could be used in group or independent research.
