Science Research Club with Ms. Hamaoui

The Science Research Club at OHS is a student-led community dedicated to helping middle and high school students explore and engage in authentic scientific research. In addition to our regular Friday club meetings, during which we will host a variety of guest speakers, this homeroom will meet earlier in the week as a space for students to pursue independent research projects. In the fall semester, we will focus on finding a scientific passion and reviewing related literature. Then in the spring semester, students will be encouraged to pursue independent literature reviews. Ms. Hamaoui will mentor students and help students explore strategies for finding and applying for research opportunities.
