Earth Science Topics with Dr. Erikson

This homeroom will spend the year learning about 4-6 topics of common interest with a passionate geologist.  Possibilities include fossil ages, ocean circulation patterns, earthquakes, global climate zones, geology of your home area, ice ages, types of volcanic eruptions, seafloor spreading and 3 billion years of plate motion, mass extinction events, tropical reefs through time, sea level change, and more!  We’ll discuss WHAT happens, HOW it happens, and WHY it happens.
